The post holder will be working with specialist consultants, ward managers and nursing teams providing a clinical pharmacy service in supporting acutely unwell patients. You will ensure that safe and effective systems are in place for the use of medicines. You will help drive the medicines optimisation agenda forward through audit, research and innovation to ensure patients receive the very best pharmaceutical care tailored to their needs.

As a hospital based Specialist Pharmacist, you will work within our wards and dispensary to provide the best possible support and counselling to both inpatients and outpatients. - The postholder will support the Head of Pharmacy with Medicines Management, Pharmacy Practice, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Clinical Governance matters by contributing to the development of activities and policies.
