Helix Medical Centre in Bishops Stortford are seeking an enthusiastic & proactive receptionist/administrator to join their small, friendly team, on a full-time basis.
We have 2 roles as follows:
Role 1:
- Tuesday 8am to 6:30pm
- Wednesday 8am to 6:30pm
- Thursday 9am to 7:30pm
- Friday 8am to 6:30pm
Role 1:
- Monday 8am to 6.30pm
- Tuesday 9.30am to 8pm
- Wednesday 8am to 6:30pm
- Thursday 8am to 6:30pm
- Receiving patients, making appointments, and dealing with requests for visits and taking messages.
- Offering general assistance to the surgery team and projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, via the telephone or in written communication.
- Receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the surgery including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the surgery team.
- Facilitating effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.
