An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse to join our dedicated Urology service at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and can deliver patient-centred care in line with the values and behaviours of the University health board. The successful candidate will need to be NMC registered, however, Urology experience is not essential and all training pertinent to the role will be provided.
Clinical duties will include
The successful candidate will be based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, however, will be required to work across all sites as and when required in accordance with the needs of the service.
We are looking to recruit an Innovative individual who is a team player, who has excellent assessment, management and communication skills, and is willing to learn and work within a constantly changing environment. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver clinical excellence within the Urology team.
The successful candidate will support and assist in various clinics and once trained and confident will carry out nurse led clinics, support Consultant Outpatient clinics, will assist in procedures such as Flexible Cystoscopies, Urodynamic Studies and Prostate Biopsies. They will carry out and support the decontamination of equipment used according to the WHTM guidelines.
