In this role, responsibilities include reviewing and reporting on month-end financial positions, producing accurate monthly forecasts in partnership with budget holders, delivering financial literacy training to non-finance staff, and utilizing data to drive efficiencies. The Senior Management Accountant will also provide robust financial data and advice for business cases, assist in identifying Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) opportunities, and support the development and training of finance staff while deputizing for the Finance Business Partner as needed.

Are you a qualified Accountant or actively studying CCAB qualification with substantial experience in financial management.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Finance Team as a Senior Management Accountant, in our newly structured Finance Team.
Based at the James Cook University Hospital, with the flexibility of hybrid working, the role will support the Finance Business Partner in the overall financial management of a clinical collaborative, providing support to service managers and clinicians as well as overseeing the monthly financial reporting process.
To undertake this role the ideal candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant. You will be have excellent communication and IT skills, be ambitious, and have strong analytical skills.
