Mountain Healthcare Ltd is seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals, including registered nurses, midwives, registered mental health nurses, or paramedics, for the role of Sexual Offence Examiner in Derby. This position entails providing critical support and holistic care to victims of sexual assault, conducting forensic examinations, and collaborating with external multidisciplinary teams and law enforcement. Key responsibilities include managing self-referral pathways, conducting thorough assessments, and producing tailored management plans while adhering to Forensic Science Regulator requirements.

The role offers full-time positions with a flexible rota covering 24/7 services and a salary of £41,953.60 pro rata FTE. The role of SOE is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required.

We're looking for caring and compassionate RN's, Midwifes, RMN's or Paramedics to join us as Sexual Offence Examiner to provide holistic care and support to victims of sexual assault.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
1st point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
Manage and promote the self- referral pathway.
Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
Producing individual management plans.
Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.
Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures.

Salary: £41,953.60 pro rata FTE
Full Time Positions Available Hours: rota basis covering 24/7, 365 days per year.
Shift Patterns: 9am - 5pm, 5pm - 1am, 1am - 9am.
