The role of a School Health Practitioner at Your Healthcare CIC in Surbiton involves supporting the health and wellbeing of children and families within local schools and community settings. Candidates will engage in various public health activities, including organizing health awareness events, providing relationship, sex, and health education, and conducting health assessments. The ideal applicant should possess a passion for child and family health, with a willingness to develop necessary skills through training and supervision, working collaboratively within a locality team guided by a School Nurse Locality Lead.

Responsibilities also include assessing health needs, delivering and evaluating evidence-based interventions, and providing support and advice to educators on health and wellbeing matters. The practitioner will help coordinating health promotion activities, maintaining accurate records, and participating in training initiatives. The position emphasises the importance of working in partnership with families to address health inequalities and improve health outcomes while fostering professional development through regular supervision and training opportunities.
