Westfield Surgery in Bletchley is seeking a full-time, experienced Practice Nurse to join their nursing team. The role involves assisting with various patient care tasks under the guidance of senior nursing staff and GPs, including performing cytology, wound care, health checks, new patient medicals, ECGs, venepuncture, and managing hypertension. The nurse will also be responsible for routine immunisations, requesting pathology tests, following clinical protocols for referrals, and ensuring that consulting rooms are maintained and stocked properly, along with monitoring vaccine storage.

Westfield Surgery located in Bletchley, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse who can join our nursing team on a full-time basis.
- Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs.
- Cytology.
- Wound care/ulcer care/doppler.
- Removal of sutures.
- Health checks.
- New patient medicals/urinalysis.
- ECGs.
- Venepuncture.
- Hypertension management.
- Routine immunisations.
- Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs.
- Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate.
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms.
- Vaccine/cold chain storage monitoring and recording.
