Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking three full-time Speech and Language Therapists at the Developmental Band 5-6 level for their Community Adult Speech and Language Therapy team in Slough. The positions are flexible, with a base determined by service need, and may require travel to various sites in East and West Berkshire. Candidates should be newly qualified practitioners or those with prior experience, demonstrating motivation and a commitment to adult care, specifically working with clients with acquired disorders like stroke and Parkinson's disease.

The role involves providing interventions, advice to clients and carers, utilizing online record systems, and engaging in group and one-on-one sessions. Newly qualified staff will follow a Preceptorship program during their first year to facilitate their progression to Band 6 competencies. The position places a strong emphasis on continuous professional development (CPD), peer supervision, and collaboration within the team. Applicants must have a recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree, be HCPC registered, and have a willingness to travel and work flexibly across multiple settings.
