Fuller and Forbes Partnership is seeking both full-time and part-time Secretaries to support their Mayflower group surgeries, with the option to work remotely from other sites in Gateshead, Burnley, Leeds, Barnstaple, and Exeter. Candidates must have prior secretarial experience and proficiency in audio typing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral Management: Coordinate the referral process from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and accurate processing and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Documentation: Handle administration related to referrals, including typing, managing correspondence, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Patient Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for patients regarding referrals, providing updates and guidance to ensure a smooth process.
  • Clerical Support: Perform general clerical duties like filing, photocopying, and document organization.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on referral statuses for managerial review to assist in performance monitoring.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and schedule meetings related to referral processes.
  • Internal and External Communication: Liaise with various departments and external entities to facilitate referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous secretarial experience and audio typing skills are required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and accuracy skills are essential.
