BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA CANCER MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS ON-CALL PROSTATE CANCER
The King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Urologist with a special interest in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer for a 12-month fixed-term position. The successful candidate will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance care for patients with prostate cancer while engaging in the general activities of the Renal and Urology Care Group. Responsibilities include providing high-quality clinical care, teaching and supervising junior staff, covering on-call duties (1 in 9), and participating in audits, clinical governance, and research initiatives aligned with the Trust's objectives.

The role primarily operates from the Denmark Hill site, with involvement in outpatient clinics and potential management duties. The position emphasises professional leadership, the provision of 7-day services, and adherence to infection control standards. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to personal and colleague development and contribute positively to the well-being of staff and patients within the hospital environment.
