The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking Band 5 Staff Nurses for the Waterside Unit at Amersham Hospital, which is part of their Integrated Elderly Care Division. This role is suitable for newly qualified nurses or those with post-registration experience, and the Trust offers a Preceptorship program to support the transition into practice. The Waterside Unit is a 21-bedded ward that provides inpatient rehabilitation for older adults with complex health needs and chronic conditions, focusing on preparing patients for a safe discharge.

Staff Nurses will be responsible for assessing individual nursing needs, planning and delivering personalized care, supervising other staff, and documenting care outcomes. The role also involves acting as a health educator for patients and their families, ensuring sensitive responses to their needs. This position provides a valuable opportunity to be part of a dedicated team within a community hospital environment, serving a diverse patient population.
