                                                    Practice Nurse with Bird In Eye Surgery in Uckfield, East Sussex

                                                     We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and dedicated nurse to our practice. We are offering two days a week, with flexible working hours and start times. Bird In Eye is a friendly, supportive, semi-rural 3 partner practice with 8000 patients.   The nurse will work as part of the medical healthcare team, providing services to our 8000 patients. Main responsibilities include:  Cytology Wound Care Removal of Sutures New Patient Health Checks ECGs Long Term conditions Management (including asthma, diabetes etc) Venepuncture Hypertension Management Routine immunisations Childhood immunisations Chaperoning Maintaining &amp; cleaning equipment Maintaining GP &amp; nurses rooms &amp; stock ordering Maintaining Cold chain log Managing clinical rooms   About us  Please see practice Nurse Job description attached. Regular admin time is also built into the rotas each week. If you are interested in the role but ideally would prefer different hours, we would be happy to consider suggestions.
