The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant in Hepatology for a temporary six-month position at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The role includes 10 programmed activities (PAs) with an on-call commitment for the emergency endoscopy rota. The successful candidate will join a team of gastroenterology and hepatology consultants to deliver high-quality liver services across multiple sites, including the New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City and Hertford County Hospital. The post also involves participating in a 1 in 12 GI bleeding rota and providing a 24/7 bleed service, although there is no commitment to the general medical on-call rota.

This position is aimed at an enthusiastic physician capable of complementing the existing department, which is focused on centralizing care for gastroenterology and liver inpatients at the Lister site.
