Part time receptionist required for a GP practice in North Kensington, W10 for 22 hours per week. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner is essential. You are expected to be courteous to patients, particularly people with disabilities, elderly and people from the ethnic minority groups. You must have experience working as a medical receptionist and preferably with Systm One software or similar. About us Answer the telephone dealing with or redirecting enquiries. Booking new and follow up appointments. Take messages for the doctors, nurse and other clinicians. Requesting repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines. Register new patients following practice policy. Open mail and distribute as appropriate. Leave private, confidential and personal mail unopened. File medical records and scan hospital reports and letters. Offer all services to patients including Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS), extended hours hub and walk in centres as appropriate.
