The role of Senior Healthcare Support Worker in the Outpatients department at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey seeks candidates with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care. The position requires previous experience in an acute NHS setting along with a Trust-issued care certificate. The team is looking to fill one full-time and one part-time position, with hours primarily from Monday to Friday. Successful candidates will provide high-quality fundamental care, assist clinicians in the smooth operation of clinics, and ensure patients' privacy and dignity are maintained.

Training and support will be provided, and candidates are encouraged to arrange informal visits to the department to understand the care delivery process better. The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to work within a dynamic team committed to delivering excellent patient care in compliance with the Trust's values and policies.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and passion to develop and improve. Previous outpatient experience is welcome, but experience from within an acute setting in the NHS is necessary, with a care certificate issued by the Trust being a requirement.

We have an exciting opportunity for two people to join our team. One part time and one full time. Full time hours Monday - Friday. Part time hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Working as a Healthcare Support Worker in an Outpatient environment within the hospital setting.

Carry out assigned tasks involved with patient care as delegated by the Charge Nurse whilst maintaining the privacy and dignity of patients.

To assist in the provision of high-quality fundamental care to patients whilst supporting the clinicians in the smooth running of clinics.

This will be whilst demonstrating excellent care, compassion and communication and to be guided by the trust's values and policies
