The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time 7/8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for a 28-hour role within the Guildford Community Mental Health Recovery Services. The successful candidate will work with adults facing severe and enduring mental health issues, particularly those with complex trauma, personality disorders, and psychosis. Essential qualifications include experience with high-risk mental health challenges, group therapy, and evidence-based trauma therapies such as CBT, with additional skills in third-wave models like ACT, DBT, and CFT being desirable.

In this role, the psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective psychological interventions. They will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, adhering to professional standards and legislation, including the Mental Health Act and safeguarding protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to service development and improvement within NHS Mental Health Services, especially during a transformative period of community and crisis service enhancement.
