The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Paediatric Surgery Colorectal Fellow (ST6+ Equivalent) for a 12-month position at the Great North Children's Hospital, starting ASAP or by March 2025. This fellowship, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons England, focuses on advanced colorectal surgery training, particularly laparoscopic techniques for treating children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Crohn's disease. The role involves clinical responsibilities, including ward management, operative duties, outpatient sessions, and on-call coverage, along with a strong emphasis on teaching, research, and active participation in clinical audits.

The position is designed for candidates who have completed general surgical training and seek to refine their skills before consulting appointments.
