ELECTRONIC ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY SERVICE (EATS)The Lincolnshire Electronic Assistive Technology Service provides a specialist service for adults and children with complex physical and/or communication disabilities. Members of the multidisciplinary team carry out assessments, make recommendations and provide equipment and systems which aim to promote independence, participation and improve quality of life.
As one of the NHS England commissioned hub services for the provision of Specialised AAC, Lincolnshire Electronic Assistive Technology Service delivers AAC services across the East Midlands region according to the NHSE Service Specification.
The Service provides assessment, provision and maintenance of Environmental Controls equipment to Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire residents.
To provide effective and efficient administrative support within the Electronic Assistive Technology Service (EATs),acting as the main point of contact for external professional staff, suppliers and members of the public.
The post holder will carry out a range of administrative duties including arranging patient visits, answering phone enquiries, maintaining patient record and related tasks, scanning, photocopying, . The post holder will maintain and promote effective working practices commensurate with the post.
This post will commence from April 2025
Respond to telephone enquiries and visitors to the department, be able to deal with potentially difficult calls and if required know who to contact.
To oversee and book planned preventative maintenance visit.To be aware and work within the confines of data protection and confidentiality at all times.To able to work with different computer systems to ensure appointments are booked correctly and clinics are coveredProvide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients.

Deal with any day to day problems that arise within the admin team such as staffing issues, technological issues ensuring effective resolution and continuity of servicesMaintain accurate patient details using both computer systems and written documentation
