The East and North Herts NHS Trust is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant (Higher Level) to join the Blood Sciences Department at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving samples, inputting pathology requests into a computer system, and assisting Biomedical Scientists with various tasks. This position involves handling patient samples, including blood and urine, and performing standard biochemical and haematological tests under supervision. The role requires maintaining clinical records, demonstrating duties to new staff, and working flexibly to meet service needs.
