Cumbria Health is looking for a part-time Safeguarding Coordinator to join their team in Carlisle. The role involves 7.5 to 11 hours of work per week, with the requirement for travel across Cumbria. The Safeguarding Coordinator will be responsible for enhancing the safeguarding profile within the organisation, identifying risks, and delivering essential training to staff. The individual will work collaboratively in a multiagency setting, providing expert advice and support to clinicians, and ensuring that safeguarding policies and practices are adhered to within Cumbria Health.

Key responsibilities include coordinating safeguarding procedures, providing line management to the Safeguarding Officer, advising on complex safeguarding matters, and promoting collaborative working across health services. The role also involves keeping staff informed about safeguarding training and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of multiagency safeguarding practices, be flexible in their working hours, and be committed to improving safeguarding practices within the organisation.
