The North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board is seeking a Senior Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist, specifically for current staff members of the ICB and NECS. The role requires a pharmacist with a strong understanding of both primary and secondary care, excellent clinical expertise, and strong communication and report writing skills. The pharmacist will work with various stakeholders to provide professional pharmaceutical advice, support the implementation of the medicines strategy, and promote evidence-based, cost-effective prescribing. Responsibilities include leading policy development and service improvements in specific areas of the medicines optimisation service. This is a 0.6 WTE position, primarily focused on Northumberland and North Tyneside, ideal for self-motivated individuals who thrive on challenges.
