The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Lead Application and Web Developer for the National Pathology Imaging Cooperative (NPIC). This role, based in Leeds, involves collaborating with the Research Systems Lead to create custom software and web applications that enhance the research initiatives of NPIC and its partners. The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in application and web development, particularly in integrating AI diagnostic tools into Digital Pathology Research Image Management Systems. Key responsibilities include developing automation scripts, resolving support issues, and contributing to solution architecture within the organisation’s IT strategy.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience in IT, with over two years of specialized knowledge in C#, ASP.Net, relational databases, and web technologies. The role requires strong communication skills for engaging with both internal and external users, along with the ability to mentor junior developers. A well-rounded understanding of current software practices, customer service skills, and experience with diverse web development technologies, frameworks, and tools is essential for success in this position.
