The Administration Officer at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for delivering a comprehensive administration service to support clinical activities in the Emergency Department and hospital wards. Key duties include greeting patients, relatives, and ambulance staff in a professional manner, providing necessary documentation to clinical staff, accurately recording and inputting data into the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, and ensuring excellent customer care with a focus on empathy and responsiveness.

In addition to managing patient interactions and documentation, the role involves liaising with various services, maintaining departmental records, and assisting with the collection of notes for audits and research. The officer will need to handle sensitive information with tact, support the Major Incident Process, and keep accurate records for overseas and private patients. The position emphasises personal development through mandatory training and attendance at appraisals.
