The role of "Primary Care Senior Clinical Coder & Administrator" at Primary Care 24 in Litherland involves summary and coding of patient information from clinical records and hospital correspondence into EMIS Web, adhering to strict practice protocols. The incumbent will act as a mentor for less experienced staff, support the administrative team to ensure smooth operations, and engage in communication with medical professionals, patients, and external partners to resolve queries and complaints. Key responsibilities also include conducting audits for quality assurance, managing correspondence, and assisting with patient referrals.

The ideal candidate will possess an EMIS Clinical Coding qualification or equivalent, along with experience in a similar role and solid knowledge of medical terminology and coding protocols. Excellent communication skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks effectively are essential. This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £26,136 per annum.
