Apply now to enjoy excellent career prospects while being part of an award winning team. The shift pattern will be Mon - Fri from 08.00am to 16.00pm. The main duties will include repairs, installation works and planned maintenance work on a multi-trade basis requiring specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practises. You will diagnose and repair all faults on engineering installations, plant and equipment. You will act as a team leader as required, co-ordinating/directing the work of others. You will undertake a range of complex work of a multi trade nature. You will use skills extended beyond Core Trades to aid diagnosis and maintenance activities including installation, maintenance and testing of medical gases and associated equipment. You will undertake the role of HTM Authorised Person in area of core skills. About us The post holder will be part of a team of five Shift Engineers under the direction of the Estates Management Team for providing a comprehensive 24 hours, 7-day maintenance cover to all retained Trust buildings and any other SLAs, including All SWYMHT Buildings on retained sites for out of normal hours emergencies. The Shift Engineer will undertake all work in compliance with relevant regulatory and advisory frameworks, Trust policies and the Estates Departments ISO9002 Quality Manual. Assist in the formulation of Trust Policies in relation to out of hours working. To undertake the role of HTM Competent Person and/or Authorised Person role in designated areas.
