The role of Senior Programme Support Officer at the Welsh NHS Confederation in Cardiff involves providing comprehensive administrative and programme infrastructure support for the All Wales NHS Chief Executives Peer Group Programme. The officer will collaborate closely with Executive Directors of NHS Wales, manage communication with stakeholders, and oversee the coordination of internal and external meetings. Additionally, the role entails supervising the daily activities of the Programme Support Officer, ensuring effective assistance to various NHS Executive Peer Groups, including Medical Directors and Directors of Digital.

Key responsibilities include acting as a primary contact for programme inquiries, facilitating meeting logistics, taking minutes, preparing agendas, and drafting necessary documentation. The officer will also maintain records and distribution lists, ensure timely delivery of work according to agreed deadlines, and communicate any delivery challenges to the Engagement Manager. This position is crucial for sustaining the effective functioning of Peer Groups and enhancing cross-organisational workstreams within the NHS Wales framework.
