Fairfield Independent Hospital in St. Helens is seeking a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join their dedicated team. The role requires an experienced physiotherapist to provide high-quality care for patients with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic disorders, managing both in-patient and out-patient post-operative rehabilitation. The successful candidate will work on a flexible 7-day rota, including weekends and on-call shifts, and will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating treatment plans, and adapting therapy to meet individual needs.

Candidates must have a Physiotherapy Degree or equivalent, HCPC registration, and specialist knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders, including orthopaedic surgery. The position demands strong communication skills to engage with patients and their relatives effectively, ensuring understanding of treatment options and progress. Additionally, the physiotherapist will be responsible for maintaining clinical governance standards, managing their caseload autonomously, and working with the wider healthcare team when necessary.
