This role is for a recently graduated Occupational Therapist who is looking to embark on a rewarding career, where they will be supported in everything they do. As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive OT assessments, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house and to external agencies, and supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols. You will also be required to maintain contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data following professional and services standards.

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist you will be:

• Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
• Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
• Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies
• Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at St Mary's Hospital.
• Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy 
• A UK HCPC registration or applied for
• Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups
• Effective written/verbal communication skills

Where you will be working:

Location: Townfield Lane, Winwick, Warrington, Cheshire, WA2 8TR

You will be working at Arbury Court, a service that provides care and treatment for women in differing levels of security, enabling clear care pathways and a positive patient experience.

You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team focusing on medium, low Secure and psychiatric intensive care PICU) for women, over the age of 18, with Personality Disorder and Mental Illness. The treatment approach at Arbury Court which is rehabilitation and recovery dictates that care is ‘person-centred’ as opposed to ‘disease-centred’. A fantastic achievement by the team at Arbury Court was the ‘Outstanding’ award in the 2CQC report.
