Devon County Council is seeking an innovative and motivated Health Visitor (SCPHN) for a part-time role (22.5 hours per week) in Exmouth, focusing on improving the health outcomes for children and families. The successful candidate will work in a community setting, providing care and support directly to families while addressing health inequalities across Devon's diverse landscapes. The position involves collaborating with various professionals and agencies, leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) for children aged 0-19, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding protocols.

Key responsibilities include clinical leadership, workload management, mentoring nursing students, and fostering strong communication networks with service users and partner organisations. The role also involves participation in the recruitment process, leading audits, and engaging in community development initiatives. Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to service improvement, and a proactive approach to supporting families using evidence-based practices. Successful applicants must have the UK Right to Work and should be registered Health Visitors.
