The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist for Epilepsy to join their renowned Epilepsy team. Based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the role involves providing comprehensive care to a diverse range of epilepsy patients, from those newly diagnosed to complex cases. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will operate autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, running nurse-led outpatient and telephone clinics, and delivering care in ward settings. Key responsibilities include patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, providing education to patients and families, and liaising with GPs and allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving Trust objectives while upholding the Trust's Vision and Values. The position is a permanent, full-time role with a standard five-day workweek, offering no night or weekend shifts. Candidates should be prepared to engage in clinical trials, audits, and research to enhance epilepsy services.
