The Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) is seeking a Research Portfolio Officer to join its dedicated Research Team. This full-time, one-year fixed-term position focuses on enhancing healthcare through effective research management, collaborating with academics and health care colleagues on applied research projects. The role involves overseeing a segment of the ICB/ICS research portfolio, supporting the research journey from idea development to the implementation of evidence, while also coordinating knowledge mobilisation efforts to ensure that health care practices inform research and vice versa.

Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of diverse projects, representing the ICB/ICS on various research initiatives, and facilitating collaboration with relevant stakeholders, such as the West of England AHSN and ARC West. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-quality research relevant to health care, promote patient involvement in research activities, and support the Research Communication Officer. The position requires excellent project management skills and the ability to navigate complex activities while maintaining compliance with governance frameworks.
