Benfleet PCN is seeking practice nurses or advanced nurse practitioners to join their multi-disciplinary team for a locum position at Rushbottom Lane Surgery, specifically for their women's health clinic on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. The role primarily involves fitting and removing contraceptive coils and implants, with the minimum commitment being 9am to 2pm either weekly or bi-weekly. Patients will be pre-assessed and have prescriptions issued prior to their appointments, with no other services booked during these clinic hours. A GP, a receptionist, and a chaperone will be present to support the clinic operations. The position is open for immediate start due to a growing waiting list.
Benfleet PCN are looking to recruit either practice nurses or advanced nurse practitioners to join our multi-disciplinary team on Saturdays between 9am - 5pm at their Rushbottom Lane Surgery. This role is based on a locum basis and is to work specifically on our women's health clinic only. The minimum expectation is to work 9am - 2pm weekly or bi-weekly.
- Fitting and removing both coils and implants.
- Patients will be pre-assessed before the appointment, prescription already issued and booked into the clinic.
- Weekday clinics are not available and no other appointments other than coils and implant fittings and removals will be booked into the clinic.
- A GP will be on site as well as a receptionist and chaperone available.
- We are looking for a start date asap as we already have a reasonably large waiting list across the PCN.
