At our state-of-the-art 48-bed centre in Leatherhead, Surrey, youll work alongside a friendly and dynamic multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, all focused on providing the highest standard of care.


What You will Be Doing

As part of our expert SLT team, you will:

Deliver specialized speech, language, and swallowing assessments for adults with communication and cognitive challenges.

Provide neurorehabilitation in a supportive residential setting, offering both individual and group interventions.

Play a key role in stroke recovery pathways, offering essential rehabilitation services that follow best practice and government policies.

Work directly with out-patients, delivering transformative care and advice.

Help design and develop SLT programs under the mentorship of senior SLTs.

Offer invaluable guidance to clients, families, and staff on managing dysphagia.

About us

  • To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
  • To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation team, contributing to the planning, development and delivery of an effective and efficient service.
  • To contribute, as a member of the speech and language therapy team, to the evaluation and audit of practice. This may lead to the implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols/care pathways.
  • To liaise with other involved agencies and with clients and carers to provide an integrated service.
