The Band 4 Therapies Rehabilitation Assistant at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust will play a crucial role within the Enfield Adult Community Physiotherapy and Neurological Therapy teams by providing essential care to patients. The assistant will be responsible for planning and delivering care in collaboration with clinicians, supporting gym-based groups and educational programs, and conducting home visits to provide prescribed treatments and necessary equipment. This role requires the ability to work independently, showing initiative while adhering to the team's guidelines, and may involve working across different services based on operational needs.

Key responsibilities include managing a designated caseload, maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and progress, and utilizing information technology for communication and data management. The assistant will engage in community-based therapeutic activities, support patients and their families, and operate manual handling and therapeutic equipment as needed. The role emphasises teamwork, effective communication with healthcare professionals, and a commitment to enhancing patient independence through multidisciplinary rehabilitation efforts.
