The Band 5 Psychological Professions Communications Support Officer role at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust focuses on enhancing communications related to the Psychological Professions within the NHS. The position requires a skilled individual to coordinate and monitor internal and external communication channels, support training and education workstreams, and manage project communication needs under the Chief Psychologist’s portfolio. Key responsibilities include developing and editing digital content such as blogs, vlogs, and social media posts, as well as drafting publications and press releases.

This 21-month fixed-term, full-time role emphasises project support and administration, including responding to queries and providing comprehensive communication support to senior professionals. The position allows for hybrid working, combining remote work with occasional on-site attendance, and seeks proactive individuals who can initiate action and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders to promote the diverse roles in the Psychological Professions.
