The Senior Diabetes Specialist Nurse role at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, based at the Diabetes Centre in King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor, offers a Monday-Friday working pattern and the opportunity to provide both specialist and community diabetes services. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in diabetes care, demonstrate adaptability to change, and embrace innovative practices. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, focusing on areas such as insulin management, diabetes in pregnancy, and education for both patients and healthcare professionals, while fostering collaboration between primary and specialist providers.

The position is part of an expanding team with a dedicated full-time Consultant and emphasises the importance of leadership, effective communication, and the support of local GP surgeries in diabetes management.
