Job Summary: Pharmacy Dispensary Coordinator – Leeds, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
The Pharmacy Dispensary Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring it runs safely and efficiently. The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage a team of Pharmacy Support Workers, provide training, and ensure effective stock control and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate dispensary functions and manage staff tasks to prioritize work effectively.
  • Supervise, train, and support dispensary staff, ensuring clear communication and direction.
  • Manage dispensary rotas, convene team meetings, oversee activities, and coordinate medication deliveries.
  • Handle the ordering, receipt, distribution, and dispensing of medicines, while addressing queries.
  • Line manage Pharmacy Support Workers and support their development.
  • Participate in weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rotational basis.
Candidates should ideally be experienced pharmacy dispensary assistants or registered pharmacy technicians. The role offers opportunities for professional development and requires travel between Trust sites. Standard working hours are from 9am to 5pm. Informal inquiries are welcome.
