Dr. C.J. Shimmins & Partners in Dartford is seeking a part-time receptionist to join their busy and friendly General Practice team for 18-25 hours per week, covering a mix of shifts. The role involves managing the front desk, answering phones, dealing with patient queries, handling appointment bookings and cancellations, and performing general administrative tasks, all while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors. While experience with EMIS is advantageous, training will be provided.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities also include data entry, managing the practice's appointments system, ensuring patient confidentiality, and assisting in the overall administration of the practice.
