The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Phlebotomist for a patient-friendly role based in Banbury, primarily covering the Phlebotomy Bus and various hospital sites. Candidates must have existing phlebotomy experience and demonstrate exceptional patient care, flexibility, and good IT skills. Responsibilities include taking venous blood samples safely from patients in wards and outpatient settings, ensuring the quality of specimens, and maintaining safe working practices in compliance with infection control policies.

The position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a full driving license and access to a car, as the role involves traveling to multiple sites. Successful candidates will initially be appointed to Band 2, with the potential to progress to Band 3 upon meeting specific competencies. This role also includes participation in the weekend rota, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive phlebotomy service across the Trust.
