East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join the Capel Ward team in Ipswich. This role is vital for supporting Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and innovative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work various shifts—including days, nights, weekends, and holidays— and have prior experience in a healthcare setting.
The Senior Healthcare Support Worker will be responsible for meeting the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained in accordance with Trust policies. Additionally, the role requires effective collaboration with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals while adhering to the defined boundaries of the position.

Capel Ward are looking for a highly motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join the team. Healthcare Support Workers are a key part of our team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high quality care to our patients.
Healthcare Support Workers work a rota pattern, so you MUST be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends including Bank Holidays such as Christmas Day.

Experience in the health care setting is essential.
