This role of a Care Home Clinical Lead at Barchester Healthcare offers an opportunity to use your clinical expertise, compassion, and leadership skills to deliver high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. As a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN), you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical care, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations to meet the needs of every resident. As a Care Home Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for implementing safeguarding policies, overseeing the creation of care plans, and making critical clinical decisions to ensure the highest standards of care. You will also be tasked with managing projects, evolving care levels, and providing coaching, training, and mentoring to the care team to keep them updated with the latest clinical developments. The role requires a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration, a teaching or mentoring qualification, and experience in gerontology. You should have a strong understanding of clinical policy frameworks and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, as well as a proven track record in clinical mentorship and performance management.
