Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking compassionate and flexible individuals to fill the role of Community Support Worker/Trainee in North Yorkshire, specifically in the York and Selby area. This Band 3 position involves providing patient-centered care to individuals with various mental health conditions. Responsibilities include assisting with intervention plans, recording psychological observations, maintaining accurate patient records, and promoting a positive image of mental health. Successful candidates must have completed a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent, and those lacking the qualifications will need to enroll in the relevant training program.

Those in this role will work within a multidisciplinary team, plan their delegated workloads, and carry out physiological measurements while recognizing their own limitations. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the Trust's core values of Respect, Compassion, and Responsibility, contributing to an environment that delivers high-quality care. Various shifts are available across a 24/7 timeframe, allowing for different working patterns, and applicants will be matched to locations based on their preferences during the recruitment process.
