The role of Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) for Senior Healthcare Support Worker at NCFE in Newcastle Upon Tyne involves assessing and grading apprentices in various healthcare apprenticeship standards, including Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker and Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker. As part of the End Point Assessment team, you will utilize NCFE's Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record assessments, engage with apprentices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality evaluations.
In addition to direct assessment duties, the role requires participation in standardisation events to uphold quality, compliance, and consistency in the assessment process. You will collaborate with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges, and employers to foster partnerships and enhance the apprenticeship experience, leveraging your professional skills to support the development of future healthcare practitioners.

As an IEPA, you'll play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessments. This is therefore a great opportunity to use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others.
Added to this, you'll be working at the forefront of End Point Assessment, as NCFE work with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges, and Employment Providers to drive valuable partnerships across the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.
