Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a motivated Theatre Supplies Assistant to join their Operating Theatres supply team. This role involves ensuring the availability of essential equipment across 33 operating theatres at multiple hospital sites. Key responsibilities include unpacking, checking and sorting theatre deliveries, maintaining cleanliness and order in storerooms, and using automated stock control systems. The ideal candidate will have stock control knowledge and experience, and be responsible for managing stock levels, tracking expirations, and reporting discrepancies.

In this collaborative position, the assistant will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create a safe environment for patients and staff. Duties also include replenishing stock through the Omnicell system, assisting with ordering clinical waste products, and identifying stock shortages. Candidates should be enthusiastic team players who are flexible in their working locations and possess good communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
