The role of Governor and Membership Engagement Officer at the Royal Victoria Infirmary involves supporting the Trust Secretary and Deputy Trust Secretary in facilitating the responsibilities of the Trust's Governors and Members. The successful candidate will engage with various stakeholders to build strong relationships, organize public and stakeholder engagement initiatives, and provide high-quality administrative support, including minute-taking for corporate meetings. A strong understanding of corporate governance, event management, and public relations techniques is essential, along with the ability to develop and implement a Governor and Member Engagement Strategy.

The officer will ensure that the Council of Governors and their working groups are effectively supported and structured, maintain communication between the Board of Directors and the Trust's membership, and deliver training on the roles of Trust Governors and Members as needed. The position requires dedication to compliance with the Trust's regulatory framework and offers a flexible working environment to accommodate the needs of both the organisation and its employees.
