A great opportunity available for a Band 3 Admin Support to join our team based at St Michaels Hospital.
The Band 3 Admin Support provides dedicated administrative support for the Locality Pathways Allocation service, working closely with Locality Pathway Allocation (LPA) Coordinator. The role will provide cover for the LPA and Triage services.
We are looking for someone who is friendly and approachable with great communication skills, who can build good working relationships within a fast-paced environment. As well as being a team player, we seek applicants who can demonstrate sensitivity/confidentiality due to the nature of the service and able to work autonomously with a flexible approach and strong work ethic to prioritise and multi-task.

Essential- Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C)
- Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Outlook)
- Good organisation skills and ability to multitask
- NHS Admin Experience
- Experience in using Carenotes or similar Electronic Patient Records System
- Understand confidentiality and apply the principles in every day working practice
- Ability to maintain relevant recording and information systems
- Excellent communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion
About us
Work effectively as a team member
Provide an administrative service across all services in the building
including: word-processing, drafting and producing letters and business documents from either audio or copy sources
Undertake general office duties as required including filing, photocopying,collating and distributing information, receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
Operate and maintain a robust, accurate and secure filing system that iseasily accessible by all staff
Maintain spread sheets and databases including the production of regularinformation reports
Be responsible for organising and servicing meetings / events as required,including room bookings, taking accurate notes, transcription and circulation as appropriate
Procurement - order stationery, clinical supplies and equipment stockUse own initiative to meet tight deadlines
Provide flexible administrative and clerical cover as required. This mightoccasionally involve working at another base in the local area during crosscover arrangements.
