ENHANCED RECOVERY AFTER SURGERY MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS ON-CALL
The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking candidates for the role of Clinical Fellow in Perioperative Medicine, aimed at senior trainees or post-CCT doctors in Anaesthesia or critical care. This one-year fixed-term position, which can be adjusted to six months if necessary, offers a unique opportunity to enhance patient care for high-risk surgical patients. The fellows will engage in a comprehensive programme that includes managing complex cases in Post Anaesthetic Care Units (PACU), working closely with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Pathways. The fellowship emphasises extensive professional development through training in areas such as CPET, prehabilitation, and service evaluation in collaboration with senior colleagues in various specialties.

Additionally, the role involves on-call responsibilities covering PACU operations around the clock, including leadership during cardiac arrest situations.
