The Band 4 Junior Data Wrangler position with the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity to join the Health Data Science team. In this role, you will be integral to developing research assets and extracting insights from clinical and operational data, contributing to innovative healthcare solutions. Your responsibilities include running automated data processing, preparing and validating data for the RDI Hub Data Warehouse, and utilizing tools like SQL, Excel, and PowerBI to manage data queries and reporting requests.

As a collaborative team member of the PIONEER Health Data Research Hub for Acute Care, you'll assist researchers with data management and maintain thorough support documentation to ensure effective resource use. The ideal candidate will have skills in T-SQL, database design, and data quality assurance, alongside a commitment to maintaining high data standards while adapting to the fast-paced demands of health data initiatives. This role emphasises both technical expertise and agile problem-solving to enhance patient care and public health outcomes.
