The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist to join their Integrated Community Stroke Therapy Team in Lancaster, with this position available exclusively for non-UK residents. This 12-month fixed-term role involves working across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and community settings, providing specialized assessment and rehabilitation for stroke patients. The successful candidate will collaborate within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, engage in professional development, facilitate training for patients and staff, and ensure person-centered care that promotes positive rehabilitation outcomes.

The role requires managing a complex clinical caseload, promoting an inter-disciplinary approach to goal setting, and working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals for effective discharge planning. Additional responsibilities include supporting the clinical lead, providing supervision to junior staff, and leading a compassionate and inclusive therapy service.
