The Grange Medical Practice in Huddersfield is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse to oversee and support a large team of Nurses and Health Care Assistants. This role involves ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality patient care, as well as managing compliance with regulations through a quality dashboard. The Lead Nurse will collaborate with the Head of Nursing and Quality on HR matters, including recruitment and appraisals, while also performing long-term condition management for respiratory and diabetes patients, conducting smears, and promoting infection prevention and control.

Additionally, the Lead Nurse will assist and guide the nursing team, including trainee nurses, in developing their competencies and will be responsible for delivering Enhanced Services to local Primary Care Networks. This position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on patient care, making it integral to the practice's overall quality and performance.
